On the fifteenth day of Christmas my dermatologist recommended to me:

Clinique 3-Step skin care system. This set includes a face wash, clarifying lotion (aka toner) and a moisturizer, and it's Clinique so you know it's hypoallergenic ya'll! I love their products, and switch off between this set and their redness reducer (I have a case of self-diagnosed rosacea). The face wash is gentle on my skin and doesn't dry it out, but still cleanses and leaves me feeling fresh and fabulous. I don't really understand the point of using toner, but my mom swears by it and makes me use it, so that's why the toner is in here. And their lotion is amazing- it's so light and moisturizes without leaving my skin sticky or oily.

So if you're in need of some new skincare (or a fantastic gift idea)- this is the set for you!

On the fourteenth day of Christmas my shopping addiction gave to me: NARS Foundation!

I have dabbled with a lot of different foundations, and this is my favorite thus far. It has some magical potion in it that melts the pigment when you apply it to your face. Ergo, you get a smooth, even coverage without streaks or any of that other nonsense. Again, NARS can do no wrong in my book, and this is just another example of his brilliance!

On the thirteenth day of Christmas my parents gave to me: Life.

It's my Birthday. Another fun fact about me. And as a side note (yet totally not surprising if you know me) - i turned 13 on Friday the 13th. So that happened. If you want, you can take a shot on my behalf, seeing as I have finals (again: my. life. rocks.) and cannot drink excessively and lie in bed until 4 pm tomorrow. Sigh.

On the tenth day of Christmas I gave myself the equivalent of a maj-or lump of coal in my stocking: a ton of school work that had yet to be read, written, or memorized the weekend before finals. So that was fun. No one got me anything, because I was stuck in the library all day and night reading about nonsense like political communication theory and international relations.

....wish there was a class on contouring and fake lash application at this school....

Christmas Countdown!

On the ninth day of Christmas I gave myself a wicked hangover... and some much needed cover up for those duffel bags I currently have under my eyes. Cle de Peau is amazing and will cover up anything and everything. Even bluish, see through, under eye skin that seems to penetrate through the 17 layers of foundation and cover up I've so pathetically attempted to apply.
